Description

This reclaimed chain heart keyring gives old mechanical parts a new purpose. Each heart is shaped by hand from a small bicycle chain or car-engine cam chain, then fitted with a metal ring and clip ready to attach to your keys, bag or another suitable loop.

The worn surfaces, link shapes and subtle markings are part of the character of the reclaimed chain. No two keyrings will be exactly the same.

Bicycle chain or cam chain

If you would prefer a particular chain type, add either bicycle chain or car-engine cam chain to the order notes during checkout. If no preference is entered, a keyring will be selected from the stock available.

A specific request may add a couple of working days to the dispatch time if that version needs to be made.

Finish and care

The reclaimed chain is cleaned and protected with clear lacquer to help reduce rust. Because this is a working keyring that will move, rub and come into contact with other objects, the coating may wear gradually. Small areas of surface rust, wear or pitting may remain from the chain’s previous life and are part of its industrial appearance. Keeping the keyring reasonably dry will help preserve the finish.
