Description

Choose from three Simple Rose designs, each plasma-cut as one complete piece from 2.5 mm reclaimed mild steel. Every rose includes its flower head, leaves, stem and circular base.

Supplied flat for you to shape

Your Simple Rose arrives as a flat steel piece and can be formed entirely by hand. Hold the circular base firmly and grip the stem as close to the base joint as possible. Slowly bend the stem upwards a little at a time, keeping your fingers close to the joint so the bend forms in the correct place. The leaves can then be gently twisted and shaped by hand.

No hand tools are required. Protective gloves are recommended while handling and shaping the steel.

The finished measurements vary depending on how the stem and leaves are shaped.

Raw reclaimed steel

The roses are supplied in untreated raw steel with no clear coat. They are suitable for painting, allowing you to choose your own colour and finish. Untreated steel will develop rust, particularly outdoors or in damp conditions.

Because reclaimed steel is used, each rose may show natural marks, colour variation, pitting or small areas of light surface rust from the material’s previous life. Light surface rust can be removed with fine abrasive paper before painting or applying a protective finish.

Prepared in the workshop

After plasma cutting, the slag and dross are removed and the edges are cleaned and deburred before dispatch. These roses are kept in stock and normally dispatched within 1–2 working days.
