Description

A one-off industrial sculpture that transforms reclaimed workshop materials into a striking study of the female form. This rear-view torso is built by hand from individually arranged M6 steel nuts, supported on a reclaimed drill bit and mounted on a steel gear base.

Handmade from reclaimed steel

The open nut construction creates a strong sense of shape, texture and movement while leaving the mechanical origins of the materials on show. The gear base and drill-bit support add further workshop character without distracting from the sculpted form.

A clear lacquer protects the finished piece while retaining the natural steel appearance. Small marks, colour variations and visible signs of the materials previous life are part of the sculpture and make it unique.

A distinctive indoor display piece

Made for indoor display on a shelf, desk, office, studio or display cabinet. It is not intended for outdoor use or damp conditions. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners.
