I was inspired to build this floating motorcycle helmet coffee table on a beautiful summers day. Wishing I was able to get on a motorbike to enjoy the weather.
I had a collection of used motorcycle helmets around and decided they could be used for a great coffee table for a bike enthusiast.
Cutting some old scaffolding boards to size, sanding and treating them with some boiled linseed oil made the perfect table top.
The helmets have been mounted on some rebar to give them a floating effect.
This is a one off piece and will surely stand out to all your guests.

The final measurements are L-800mm W-800mm H-450mm
